We checked into a hotel a few blocks from the train station, had lunch at the nearby McDonalds. Toured the cathedral. All within a few blocks.

Bernie and I caught a movie ("Fritz the Cat", I believe) explored the shopping district, ended up having dinner at a small tavern. Ravioli and beer.

I believe we stayed in the Callas Hotel above, in the building just this side of the hotel sign.
